Have you ever heard the expression “Don’t be fooled by appearances?” We’re taught that when we see it we’ll believe it, then we’re taught when we believe it then we’ll see it. But how many times have things happened in your life without you believing it or even visualizing it, a “surprise” seemed to come “out of the blue” and it was an AMAZING gift for you.

We talk about lifting our vibrations and that’s how we “get what we want.” Is that true? Have you lifted your vibration and got what you wanted for you? Maybe or maybe not, but the point of lifting our vibration is to feel our true sensations, the LOVE, peace, joy and harmony that resides at the core of our being. What we really want from “all that stuff” anyway is to feel at peace and okay.

We base success on how much money we make, instead of the lessons, the joy, the true fulfillment and the growth that we experience along the way. We base whether or not things can happen by our past experiences and this only creates interferences.

Every day we have the opportunity to begin again, the problem comes when we let our physiology control our reality. Our automatic responses, our past experiences, our conditioning, filters what we see, how we’re feeling, thinking and living.

Back to the expression of don’t be fooled by appearances, why? There’s so much more going on then what we’re seeing from our limited perceptions of reality. If we let our heart lead the way, instead of listening to what others have to say, we’ll truly enjoy this earthly play.

“Don’t judge a book by its cover, they can be your next lover.” We’re taught that boys like girls and girls like boys and this is the “right way to be” in this reality and this often causes pain and suffering in the gay community. I for one struggled with allowing myself to have feelings for girls, it wasn’t right and I was experiencing an internal fight.
